DOLL CLOTHING DESIGNS

  • Above left:  A pattern design for Barbie Bazaar

  • Center:  Riley's beach outfit from the Patterns for Riley Booklet

  • Right: I love creating vintage fashions.  This style is from about 1910.

  • Above left:  Two outfits from the 2003 Doll Diary Picnic, Afternoon in Italy.  Everyone attending got one of the outfits plus a printed tote bag, a  doll sized travel brochure, and some Euros.

  • Above center:  My workshop for the Modern Doll Convention  2007.  Each participant got a completed top, skirt, and straw bag.  The kits included the wrap, necklace, bracelet, chain belt, and shorts (not pictured).

  • Top right:  My seminar for the Modern Doll Convention 2007.  Each participant made a shopping bag, paper doll book, map, plane tickets, box of tacos, purse, and more.

  • Above left:  The mini Ginny Fiesta gown from the pattern booklet.  This one matches the Tyler outfit seen above.

  • Above center:  For my 40th Anniversary I made a Barbie size copy of my wedding gown.  The pattern was in Doll Diary.

  • Above right:  This is a kit that I designed for Here's Looking at You, Gene.  The side opening sleeveless jacket comes off to reveal a sundress.

ORIGINAL DOLLS

  • Above left: Violet, an original doll with a porcelain shoulder head, arms and legs, and a cloth body with a wire armature.  She stands 14" high.  Her dress is adapted from an illustration in the 1908 Sears catalog.  She won second place in her category at the UFDC National Convention in 1991.
  • Above center:  Santa and Mrs. Santa are 11" high with porcelain heads, arms and legs.  They have wire articulated cloth bodies and are limited editions.  Eric is all-bisque and stands 7" tall.  He is telling Santa what he wants for Christmas.
  • Above right:  This doll house lady is less than 5½" tall.  She was another ribbon winner at the 1991 convention.

  • Above left:  I love witches so making this doll house witch was so much fun.  Her cat basket was made by Margie Ann Yokom.
  • Center:  Bisque toddler with glass eyes, porcelain head and hands, and a cloth body with button joints.  This doll is part of the JoAnne's Pockets series.  Each outfit was different and had a surprise in one of the pockets.
