FABULOUS FIFTIES FASHIONS

 

This is a reissue of my book done for Hobby House Press in the 1980s.  It has full size patterns for Miss Revlon, Little Miss Revlon, Harriet Hubbard Ayers, Shirley Temple, Mary Hartline, Princess Mary, Besty McCall, Betsy Wetsy, Saucy Walker and Toni.  There are also some of the original ads, pictures of vintage accessories and vintage pattern covers. Price $30.00                   Little Miss Revlon fans take note -the Jill patterns in Fashions to Fit Ginny and Jill fit Little Miss Revlon, too!

 

 

FASHIONS TO FIT GINNY & JILL

Another reissue of a book from the 1980s, but with a few added patterns and pictures of Ginny's house plus some of the accessories like her dog, and furniture.  Make sister fashions for Ginny and Jill like leotards, poodle skirts, vest-dresses, drop-waist dresses, underwear, pajamas, and  nursery rhyme costumes.  There is even a set of patterns for Ginny twins.  Price $22.00

 

 

MAKING FUN FASHIONS  TO FIT DOLLS LIKE  BRENDA &TYLER   

Have wonderful time sewing beach separates, a long wrap skirt that goes over a leotard, a basic black dress with overskirt, a strapless dress with a jacket, a dress with a contrasting yoke, an evening gown, a suit with fur trim, and 2 stoles.  There are also instructions for 2 hats, 2 hand bags, a necklace, and a crocheted tote. THE BEST OF DOLL DIARY

To celebrate Doll Diary's 10th anniversary I have put together some of my favorite articles and patterns. THE BEST OF DOLL DIARY'S PAPER DOLLS

I have chosen some of my favorite paper dolls from the last ten years. I included full color sets like Styles from the 1920s, Moira in the 1930s, Dixie Belle, Summer Fashions 1917, Hallie the Witch, Paris 1925, A Lady Doll's Costumes from 1910, Civil War Costumes, Fur Fantasy, Valentine Girl, Contemporary Weekend Wardrobe, and Home Sewing 1948. I also printed some articles from early issues: How I became a Paper Doll Collector, How I Enjoy My Collection, and Painting Paper Dolls. There is also an assortment of black and white paper dolls from the early issues. Price $25.00

 

AN ANTIQUE DOLL AND HER STRIPED FROCKS

This paper doll booklet pictures a doll from 1916 with her striped wardrobe.  Seen right is her swim suit and one of the five full color outfits.  Also in the booklet are three outfits for you to color.  If you love authentic vintage fashions or are looking for some costuming inspiration, I think you will like this book.  Price $6.50

 

 

PATTERNS FOR RILEY

This is a pattern booklet with patterns to make three outfits for little dolls like Riley.  There is a beach outfit with halter top, ruffled skirt, hat and sandals.  See a picture of this outfit in the Photo Gallery.  There is a jersey knit dress. (I even tell you where to find the perfect fabric.) Finally there is an easy-to-make drop-waist dress. Price $12.00

 

PATTERNS FOR TINY KITTY

If you love Little Miss Revlon, Cissette, and Jill, you have to have Tiny Kitty.  Tonner's basic doll is fun to sew for and his dressed dolls are perfection. Use the patterns in this booklet to make a sundress, a leotard and dance skirt, a halter dress, tee shirt and knee knockers.  I even show you how to use the leotard to make a Halloween costume.  Price $12.00
